Alumni-to-Student Knowledge (ASK) Program

ASK Program Session on Radiology

Launched in the spring of 2009, the new Alumni-to-Student Knowledge (ASK) Program provides a unique forum where students can discuss educational, career, and lifestyle choices with alumni in a relaxed environment. The ASK Program format includes dinner followed by a discussion moderated by WCMC Alumni Association Board member Paul F. Miskovitz, M.D. '75. Students receive speaker bios ahead of time to help prepare questions. Session topics to date have included Anesthesiology, Psychiatry, Radiology and Dermatology/Plastic Surgery. Global health has long been a strength of Weill Cornell. Collaborating with local, national, and international partners, we have developed programs in sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, the Americas, Europe, India, and elsewhere. These programs are designed to serve community needs and foster self-sufficiency through education, clinical care, research, and public policy. They include a focus on infectious diseases, which ravage the world's poor, and on the growing burden of chronic diseases.
