About Us For Cornell Students For International Students Recent Projects

International Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College

Weill Cornell Medical College is one of the leading medical schools in the field of international medicine. For over fifty years Weill Cornell faculty have been actively involved in research and health care in many parts of the developing world. Many students are interested in exploring careers in these fields as well as having elective experience to enhance their understanding of health care in settings without advanced technology. The Medical College also has several relationships with medical schools and hospitals in Europe with a focus on comparative health care systems.

We also provide opportunities for international students attending medical schools outside the United States and Canada to do clinical electives at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City.

The Office of Global Health Education coordinates information about the international programs. For more information about our international programs and opportunities, please contact us.
