Women's Mental Health Consortium

Research

Research studies focused on improving mental health care for women are conducted at several universities in the New York City metropolitan area. Participation in research studies can help to advance care for women and their infants. Research studies include tests of potential new treatments, observational studies of women and their infants, and biological studies.

Ongoing Studies

  • If you are currently in your first trimester and you also have symptoms of worry, panic, obsessions, or compulsions, you may be eligible for this research study. [More]

  • Volunteers are needed to help test an experimental drug treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. [More]

  • If you have severe prementrual mood changes, you may qualify for a research study testing an investigational drug. [More]
